Smoothie is an indica-dominant hybrid and one of the standout favorites within the Pure Instinto catalogue. Created from the flavorful cross of Banana Split and Kosher Kush, this cultivar combines dessert-style sweetness with classic Kush depth, delivering a rich sensory experience supported by solid potency and abundant resin production.
From harvest to cure, Smoothie rewards careful handling. Its flowers are exceptionally resinous, making proper curing essential to preserve trichome integrity and terpene richness. Thanks to this heavy resin output, Smoothie is particularly well suited for the production of oils, tinctures and other extracts, while also offering versatility for medical cannabis users.
The breeding goal behind Smoothie was to merge the creamy, fruity profile of Banana Split with the structural strength, potency and Kush backbone of Kosher Kush. The result is a balanced indica-leaning hybrid that delivers reliability in the grow room alongside premium flower quality.
Smoothie produces dense, crystal-heavy buds, often so saturated with resin that the green plant material is barely visible beneath the trichomes. The plant performs consistently indoors and outdoors, showing good vigor and stability across different environments.
True to its name, Smoothie offers a sweet, fruity and creamy flavor profile. When smoked, the inhale is smooth and gentle, while the exhale delivers clear berry notes that linger pleasantly on the palate.
Despite its dessert-like sweetness, Smoothie is also very pungent, producing a strong aromatic presence dominated by fruity tones and supported by a rich, resinous background. Discretion is not its strongest feature—but flavor lovers will appreciate its intensity. The terpene profile is led by Limonene, contributing to both aroma brightness and mood-lifting effects.
Smoothie’s effects develop slowly and progressively, often taking several minutes after consumption to fully reveal themselves. This delayed onset makes the experience feel smooth and controlled, rather than overwhelming.
As the high settles in, users report a happy, peaceful and lightly euphoric state, accompanied by enhanced creativity and heightened sensory awareness. Over time, the indica side becomes more pronounced, introducing a gentle sedative effect that makes Smoothie best suited for evening or nighttime use.
Thanks to its balanced mental clarity, Smoothie may offer temporary relief for those dealing with anxiety, depression or attention-related challenges, helping users stay present, focused and relaxed without immediate couch-lock.
